My name is Tara Lonneman. I have been teaching for 17 years. I taught 4th and 5th grade in Summerville for 11 years and this is my sixth year at Pinckney.

Classroom Reflection
Prior to this class I had never used digital story telling with moviemaker. I think that this class has given me some great ideas on how to incorporate more technology in my classroom. I have also gained confidence using more technology in my class.
I plan to use moviemaker in my science class. Students will research a given severe weather topic and use the information that they learn to create a digital story using moviemaker. Students will present their movie to their classmates.
Moviemaker will be a useful tool to enhance student learning and it can be incorporated into many of the science units we study. I think using moviemaker as a way for students to teach their classmates about a given topic is extremely valuable.
